CHRISTMAS EVE LIFEBOAT CEREMONY
The crew of the RNLI lifeboat station at Dun Laoghaire will hold the traditional ceremony to remember the 15 volunteers that died on service in 1895 on Christmas Eve and for all lives lost at sea in the past year.

History.

Projects.

There are are number of projects currently being undertaken around the Harbour, Harbour Lodge, Harbour View, East Pier Resurfacing, as well as planning for future projects such as Carlisle Pier Redevelopment. Dún Laoghaire Harbour Company have completed a number of noteworthy projects such as the Victoria Fountain Monument.

Improvements to Dun Laoghaire Town

Work is ongoing on civil improvements to paving on Crofton and Marine Roads. Work has also commenced on landscaping the recently covered area of the railway - The Metals - and the second phase of the covering is about to be slabbed
