From folk, traditional, eclectic, tribal, digital as well as the experimental, the Dún Laogaire Rathdown Festival of World Cultures presents a wide ranging programme of concerts, club nights, fairs, markets, performances, street events, workshops. This year 2010, the Festival which will be celebrating it's 10th Anniversary and will be held on 23rd, 24th, 25th July 2010

Staged throughout the historic port town of Dún Laoghaire, the Dún Laoghaire Rathdown Festival of World Cultures, an annual international art and culture festival, celebrating cultural diversity. The Festival central focus on developing new community audiences, to provide accessible events, performances, activities for all ages.

In Holyhead to Ireland, the authors aim to place on record the heritage on which today's successful port and trade is built - the era of railway ownership, for it is without doubt that Holyhead and the Stena Line routes to Ireland owe their existence to the railway companies of yesteryear.

Improvements to Dun Laoghaire Town

Work is ongoing on civil improvements to paving on Crofton and Marine Roads. Work has also commenced on landscaping the recently covered area of the railway - The Metals - and the second phase of the covering is about to be slabbed
