Dún Laoghaire Harbour Logo Winning Design
The wining design.

In 1995 a competition was held to design a logo for the Company.

A Mr Donovan O'Connor was considered to have a design that showed potential and was asked to come up with a design after consulting a member of the Interim Harbour Board, Patrick Shaffrey.

Donovan produced the existing logo that depicts the spire of St.Michael's Church and The Town Hall Clock Tower, with the "green" of the Wicklow Hills as a background. Below this are the East and West Piers with the "blue" of the sea as a background.

Mr. Donovan was awarded IR£250 of art materials from the Dún Laoghaire Art and Design Shop
