Weather Display & Station

For the information to the general public DLHC have added another weather station visual display on the lower level of the East Pier. There are now a total of four visual displays:

  1. One at the entrance to the West Pier
  2. One on the Marina East Breakwater
  3. One on the upper level of the East Pier - adjacent to the anemometer
  4. One on the lower level of the East Pier - adjacent to the anemometer

Forgotten Irish Plaque Unveiling Dún Laoghaire 15 May 2012

On Tuesday 15th May 2012 at 1pm, Ms. Sally Mulready, member of the Irish Council of State, will unveil a plaque to the "FORGOTTEN IRISH" on the East Pier in Dún Laoghaire to commemorate all those who departed from the historic Carlisle Pier.

STENA LINE - DUN LAOGHAIRE HOLYHEAD ROUTE

New publication - Holyhead to Ireland

Improvements to Dun Laoghaire Town

Work is ongoing on civil improvements to paving on Crofton and Marine Roads. Work has also commenced on landscaping the recently covered area of the railway - The Metals - and the second phase of the covering is about to be slabbed
