Dublin Tourism Office Honoured at Fáilte Ireland's Optimus Awards in Killarney
The Award for Service Excellence was presented to the Dun Laoghaire Tourist Office, situated in Dun Laoghaire Harbour Ferry Terminal, on Wednesday 3rd December 2008 in Killarney.
Service Excellence is part of the Optimus programme developed by Fáilte Ireland a national quality standard and business improvement tool for the Irish tourism industry which specifically measures customer service.
The multi-tiered programme helps businesses understand their performance, strives to help them achieve excellence in every aspect of their business and assists them in making continuous improvement. The office was audited by the Centre for Competitiveness and the assessment focused on the customer service.
