Irish Youth Sailing Club

The club is a cottage like building with a shop, an office, a mess hall, changing rooms, a workshop, and a classroom.

The Shop

The shop is run by the members of the club in the warmer months as a fund raiser for the club.

Mess Hall

The Mess hall has a television, laptops, a Nintendo Wii, plenty of tables and chairs to sit at and where the club members can socialise.

Changing Rooms

The Changing rooms are where members can change into their wet suits before sailing, kayaking, banana boating or anything other activity. For convenience there is a gents changing room and a ladies changing room.

The Classroom

The classroom is were the Dun Laoghaire Powerboat Schools classes are taught.

Workshop

The workshop is were tools are kept and work is done.

The Office

The Office is the hub of all activity, it is also were the rescue crew wit for the next call.

The Irish Youth Sailing club has been open for about 21-23 years.

The Club members are able to: sail, kayak, banana boating, powerboating, windsurfing as well as fishing during the summer months. And during the winter months the club organise indoor things activities like navigation, and first aid courses.

The club can be located on Dun Laoghaire Harbour's west pier, close to the water, the boatyard, the slip and the dart station!
